Now, I am not at all familiar with Sharps, but... Is there a motor slowing down somewhere causing a jam? Is there anything in the finisher driven by the copier (say, an entrance roller) that could be loading up the system? I seem to remember problems like this in some Minolta digital models - Di250,350 & Di450,550. The entrance roller shafts on the finishers would get bad bushes and seize up - bingo - pj! I realise that you have tested the finisher on another machine but stranger things have happened.

Does this help or confuse???
