Re: All in one I.T. Tech software.

    [Version 1.1.2.57 ]
Pending Update for both laptop & PC. Works with Win8.1.
I've made provision for Win10. Can someone test it for Win10.

    [Fixes 1.1.1.56]
    Screen scaling for laptop.(Almost)
Defaulting Op-sys buttons when install or USB drive letter changes.
Changes to Config screen now saves on exit from screen.
Output-to off button removed, Editor & Printer buttons now toggle on/off.

    [Notes]
I can't get enough screen realestate for laptop screens. I may have to change the Tray and Tool button key board from a 6 x 4 Array to a 5 x 5 array. Anyone got any thoughts on the keyboard layout changes? Overall it just makes the GUI wider an smaller in height.

If it is not too much trouble I'd appreciate that (or maybe a scroll bar, if that is easier). Apparently the monitor I have for this box is like a laptop screen, and the bottom of the window extends below the task bar, and I can't access anything below the function button portion.
    Thanks!

If I change the Tray-Tool button keyboard from 6x4 to 5x5 ; all your current tools box files will not load.
That means all your current tool button configurations will be lost. You'll have to start afresh.
I see how the 5x5 graphic user interface(GUI) looks and feels.

My enthusiasm is a tad low. I have to get more paying jobs out the way first.

The missus gets the sh!ts big time when I do too many luv jobs.... doh!...

Take your time, your the boss here.
This has already reminded me of an old favorite, tracert. I'd forgotten about that ever since I found the "Is It Down Right Now?" website.
    Thanks!

    Ok Beta-Testers. Any everyone else.

The latest ittbV11257.zip. See the below public link.

    https://www.hightail.com/download/bXBiYkJpZ2dubVZ4Tk1UQw

The file will be available for download for the next 24hrs.

The above version has been modified with a 5x5 keyboard and updated help.pdf ver2.0 files.
The modified version has been optimised for laptop screens.
There have been a few bug fixes along with extra token functions.
I have configured the WinXP toolbox with a heap of button examples, these should get you going with your own software programming and knowledge base functions.

Please send all correspondence here to the copytechnet forum so others can follow the progress.

Re: All in one I.T. Tech software.

I just tried this out, and now I have access to the bottom of the window. Holey buckets, there's a lot more to this than I first thought!
For what it is worth, I found one glaring issue on my end: when I decompressed the files to a new folder, that folder was made "Read Only". That caused all the buttons in the command window to be unassigned. Once I turned that off the buttons were restored. This might just be an issue with Win 8/10, but it might still be something to note in the help file so dopes like me know to check that.
Still getting the date errors, but as you said earlier that's just a regional thing.
Is there any other information you'd like to know about this? If so, let me know.

    1. Send a small screen shot of the date-time issue.
    2. Read only issues is an odd one. There is a autorun.inf folder that might lock you out when loading from USB stick.
    3. A lot more than first thought. It's not that difficult. It's just a learning curb. Once you program some buttons yourself you'll get the hang of it quickly. The CONFIG tabsheet shouldn't be easy to access, it might be causing unnecessary concern. There is a lot of hidden system options in the config that may never be used. Disregard the config for now.

    [Known bugs]
There is a extra comment text bug with new USER1 file filter on open/saved dialog in the config tabsheet. Just remove the //comment text an the filter should work.

Re: All in one I.T. Tech software.

When people get the iTToolbox program sorted out, I hope to get time to write specialised tools to go into the program.
I would like to expand on skynettos theme with communication interfaces like WIM, password an email tools.

I have other pressing issues for the time being....

I all depends on the enthusiasm ... ...
