    DF-772 5501i Two Sided Jam

    Hey Guys,

Working on a 5501i with a DF-772 finisher. I am brand new to Kyocera machines and the machine is reporting a jam whenever you send a two sided scan through the adf. It passes through the first side fine but always jams when pulling the paper back in. It doesn't crumple the paper or anything it just stops. I have tried cleaning everything I could think of but to no avail. Any idea on what it could be?

    Thanks for you help!

I'm guessing that you did not think of purchasing a manual, printing off the error/jam list, then looking up the specific jam code that is occurring.

I think this procedure applies to almost any MFP that you may care to discuss. =^..^=
If you'd like a serious answer to your request:
    1) demonstrate that you've read the manual
    2) demonstrate that you made some attempt to fix it.
    3) if you're going to ask about jams include the jam code.
    4) if you're going to ask about an error code include the error code.
    5) You are the person onsite. Only you can make observations.

There is no DF-772 and why would the finisher matter if you're jamming in the document feeder? There is a DP-772 but that's a single pass ADF which doesn't "pull the paper back in."

Like the others said, jam codes would be your best bet either for getting help here or figuring it out yourself.
