There are 3 clicks to separate the pump motor for rubber replacement, be careful don't broken it otherwise it won't work.

Re: Ricoh MP C3500 Technician Wanted, Columbia, SC
Ok, I will replace the rubber, but when I first replaced the entire yellow toner pump and swapped out the yellow developer my calibration print out was faded and very light. all four colors. So after i get the toners pumping i have to figure out what caused this to happen. Any suggestions?

Re: Ricoh MP C3500 Technician Wanted, Columbia, SC
I checked the house after vacuuming everything and toner was in the hose that i had vacuumed empty. So the toner pump is working. Anyone think its the toner sensor that needs to be cleaned, i cant seem to find its location.

Re: Ricoh MP C3500 Technician Wanted, Columbia, SC
Few things to check:
Does the machine have Ricoh OEM toner installed?
Check and clean out the toner reservoir at the rear of the machine and near end sensor.
Check the Developer unit gears and also the drive gear on rear of the machine. If this is worn it wil not turn the dev unit and give a toner end/near end message.
Replace the complete pump unit including the tube for the effected colour ( tube can become blocked).
Hope this helps.

Re: Ricoh MP C3500 Technician Wanted, Columbia, SC
just recently had one c3500 down with a toner supply unit problem.
So: pump, nozzle, development unit and than a toner supply unit = over 1000 euro!
Customer has bought a new machine.
I won't recommend you to let it fix, because, what will be the next problem?
This is an old machine, which should be replaced.
No good technician will give you guaranty for months on this fix!
Replace it, is my advice.
