Re: "Remote Copy" on Ricoh Machines?

Scan to email, having the receiving machine print all emails to that particular address

Re: "Remote Copy" on Ricoh Machines?

    I'll explain it.
There is FTP printing. So I thought "What if I send the file to the machine as if I was doing FTP printing?" And voilá!

    "Original" machine requirement:
    scan to FTP

    Destination machine requirement:
    PDF direct print

    Configuration:
Configure scan to FTP where the destination is the IP address of the Destination machine
    Protocol: FTP
    Port: 21
Server name: <destination machine ip address>
    Path: .
    user: anonymous

    NOTES:
I think you only need PDF direct print. I've tested on machines with Postscript (SPC430 and MPC307). I'll try to see if Postcript is required or not.

There's a nice solution for that, invented in 1843 - use a Fax machine!
