    Paper cut setup

    Hi All

For those that have integrated paper cut with Kyocera , do you have any does or don't when setting up paper cut and using HID swipe cards. We seem to be having a problem getting the HID reader and disks to work properly. Specifically , when waving the disks , the reader is working but the numbers are not showing up in field, however when entering the numbers manually it works...
    Any ideas?

    Thanks much
    Geo

You may need to get the software & configure the reader. Hook up the card reader to a laptop & open notepad. It should display what it sees when you use a card.
If that's working corectly, you might need to set the reader up to use a certain number of characters or something.
    Hope that helps !

Had the same issue recently with an existing card not working with new machines. As tmaged said ,we used app blaster to reconfigure the card readers .Another point is if you upgrade firmware be sure to disable papercut first as we have had a few crash when we haven't
