Re: How Russia hacked the Democrats email

You see what's going on here?

A couple of dems put up a barrage of posts, most of them innacurate, many of them out right lies. At first, because we're winning right now, we're all enthusiastic about shooting them down. But little by little, we just kind of get bored with it.

Yeah, we get it. You hate Trump. We don't care. We'll just continue on again as the silent majority.

But they'll continue the posts, which will go more and more unchallenged, because we've lost interest. And someone on the outside will look in and have this weird, slanted version of the truth. Never mind that all the news for America is good right now. Never mind that the country is headed in the right direction. Never mind that the majority of the negativity is non-American (shame on you 'Americans' who indulge).

There's so many anti-Trump posts, this country MUST hate Trump.

But you can bet your ass he's gonna win in 20.

The sad part is that so many republicans have fallen for this, that they become cowards, afraid to implement conservative policies and ineffectual in the government. This very thread happens on a large scale throughout the country.

It is more like the righties can't find anything to refute these posts. I'm sure if you dig deep enough on breitbart and fox you can find some fake news and alternate facts to throw into the ring. Lol

Trump still unconvinced Russia meddled in 2016 election

President Donald Trump still isn't buying that Russia interfered in the 2016 election.

Even as his intelligence chiefs unanimously told a Senate panel Tuesday that Russia meddled in 2016 and is planning to do so again in 2018, three sources familiar with the President's thinking say he remains unconvinced that Russia interfered in the presidential election.

Trump's view contradicts his intelligence chiefs, including Director of National Intelligence Dan Coats, CIA Director Mike Pompeo and FBI Director Chris Wray, who all testified -- again -- on Tuesday that they supported the intelligence community's January 2017 assessment that Russia interfered in the 2016 election.

Russia Sees Midterm Elections as Chance to Sow Fresh Discord, Intelligence Chiefs Warn

Russia is already meddling in the midterm elections this year, the top American intelligence officials said on Tuesday, warning that Moscow is using a digital strategy to worsen the country’s political and social divisions.

Russia is using fake accounts on social media — many of them bots — to spread disinformation, the officials said. European elections are being targeted, too, and the attacks were not likely to end this year, they warned.

We expect Russia to continue using propaganda, social media, false-flag personas, sympathetic spokespeople and other means of influence to try to exacerbate social and political fissures in the United States,” Dan Coats, the director of national intelligence, told the Senate Intelligence Committee at its annual hearing on worldwide threats.

Mr. Coats and the other intelligence chiefs laid out a pair of central challenges for the United States: contending with the flow of Russian misinformation and shoring up the defenses of electoral systems, which are run by individual states and were seen as highly vulnerable in 2016.

“There should be no doubt that Russia perceives its past efforts as successful and views the 2018 U.S. midterm elections as a potential target for Russian influence operations,” said Mr. Coats, testifying alongside Mike Pompeo, the C.I.A. director; Christopher A. Wray, the F.B.I. director; and other leading intelligence officials.
