Hello guys, I have a Canon IR Adv C2220l with prints and copies coming out as black and white.
The Auto Colour Selection was set to Auto or Colour, results is still the same, black and white.

not sure if this helps but check thi the color settings in settings/registeration - printer settings - custom settings

Is there any message on the screen? has a colour toner run out?

Ok thank you guys, tomorrow I will check the machine.
The Cyan toner is merely finished, can this be the cause ?
The Cyan, Magenta and Black Drums are new.

There are one solenoid in back fixing motor, it control transfer belt to contact with C/M/Y Drum. When it's sticky, no color come out because transfer belt no contact with drum unit

When a colour toner runs out the machine will allow B/W printing only until that colour toner is replaced.

You are right, the machines throw an error code E074 and alarm codes 300025, 300026, 300027 and 300028.
This is because the solenoid SL01 behind the fixing motor was sticky and causes the ITB not contacting the drums causing blank prints and copies.
The black and white prints was because the magenta toner has run out.

Actually this was posted about a while ago, caused a bit of confusion as at first one couldn't see the connection between a fixing solenoid and color printing. Can't remember who the tipster was, but it got explained further down the post as others asked for clarification.
