I have a Bizhub 240f which seems to me to be equal with the Muratec MFX-2550. Looks exactly the same and has also the LED exposure system (not the old CCFL tube). Machine has only 6K on the clock and is working fine except that the color scans have a blueish shade at the edge from leading to trailing edge. Any ideas where to look please? Calibration/adjustment possible perhaps, but how? I have no manuals at all for this gem. Probably is the BH-240f only available in Europe not American markets.

Clean the scanner section - especially reference white area for scanner calibration, then perform "Background level" adjustment from Settings * 0 9 menu.

There is training doc for Muratec, which I found much more helpful than KM service manual.

I can upload SM for Bizhub 240f if you need.

Yes please Jotunn, that would be very convenient. I'll send you a PM with my e-mail address. Or would you prefer a cloud service?

Lots of thanks in advance.

Background Level Adjustment did the trick. Machine is fine now and can go to customer.

Thanks very much for your help Jotunn.
