I have this OCE CS665 which i am told is the equivalent of Konicaminolta C6501. It originally had a C-6708 fault which i traced to the Image Processing Board....when the board was tested on a working C6501 machine it came up with the same code. Now replacing the board is now the big issue. Two working boards has been tried and it keeps giving a C-DC20 fault code immediately at power up. Anyone has an idea how to resolve this?
Thanks.

Hi,
C-DCxx errors relate to a security issue. It is not explained well in the service manual. It just mentions contacting KM support.
Are you trying brand new boards for that particular model (not KM boards)

Thanks for your response. I am using a board that is working on another c6501 machine. Is this a security issue that cannot be resolved outside km support?

Hi,
My concern is you are using boards from a KM machine. I have never dealt with this kind of security error before but assume there is firmware written to the board that distinguishes the different models. According to the list of adjustment items the only thing recommended to do after replacing the board is to perform "Printer Screen Gradation" adjustment.
If I was in this situation I would order a new board and replace it.
hope this helps

Also,
Are you just replacing the IPB or are you swapping the whole board ass'ly (With the OACB)?

I changed just the IPB and will be surprised if the boards are different between OCE and KM. Nice suggestion though, thanks
