that would be unethical. but there is possibly a way way but i wont say. its not a factory way

put the NVram in the microwave for exactly 34 seconds. that should do the trick :)

I drill (10) 3mm holes in the NVRAM. It allows the copies to leak out. =^..^=

it should be illegal in my opinion. its like resetting the odometer in your car

Try Dipswitch 40 bit 1 to 1 (ON) that should clear everything down for you.

Better than using a microwave

WoW, what fantastic ideas we technicians have . It would be better to let this Gentleman know that it is unethical practice. It would be much better and helpful.

I'll have a guess here and say that these idiots know full well it's illegal, but why should that stop them ripping off a customer.

Besides, it's much more fun to offer 'alternative suggestions'

Perhaps he could ring Konica Minolta and ask them how to reset it, I'm sure they would help.
