Hi all

Is there a mod (such as a stick on mylar) to stick on the ITB so the paper doesn't curl up under the fuser and cause a jam?

I don't know of any tech pubs relating to the area between the itb and fuser. I think there was a tech pub adding mylar to the fuser exit area. Is the plastic guide on the itb belt missing?

There isn't a plastic guide on the c220. That was introduced on the 4 range.

Most of our c220's have one sep claw on the TB. The new TB has 3. I just had a c220 leaving paper 1/2 way exiting the fuser, next piece is curled under the fuser above the TB, BUT I think the clue is one in the verticle feed area. Jam code is 2011. It never jams from tray 1, only has 2 trays. New tires & 1-way bearings all the way around. I suspect the vert feed clutch is shot. Usually some CRC cleaner spray will fix those clutches, but after 200~300k+ they're toast. I came here tonight looking for verticle feed jamming info I remember someone saying there's a roller & pressing springs mod. Maybe that's for the 4 series??
