Hello friends , for the last two days i am experiencing an error code of 2453 in my machine. What i did was to bring back the toner density of cyan back to 127. it worked for about 100 copies or so and again it occurred. Some times the toner density does nt seems to decrease. Cyan developer has been changed two months back but found a leakage afterwards which resulted in the lose of quite a bit amount of cyan developer. The charging unit is also new. Can anyone suggest a solution.:confused:

C-2451 ~ C2453 error codes sometimes turned on in customers with many black outputs.

There was little color output, and if there was a lot of black print, it would turn out.

Should i need to chagne the cyan developing unit

C-2451 to C-2453 error codes are lit even if the Developing Unit, developer, and Charging Unit are replaced.
This is a symptom from a customer who mostly prints black. If you increase toner density, it will be good.

1.
"Service Mode menu screen"
Press [02 Process Adjustment].
2.
"Process Adjustment Menu screen"
Press [02 Drum Peculiarity Adj.].
3.
"Drum Peculiarity Adjustment Menu screen"
Press [06 Toner Density Revert].
4.
"Toner Density Revert screen"
Select the color(s) whose density needs to be recovered.
5.
Press [Start] to supply toner to the developing unit with lower than the standard density value. When the toner concentration reaches to
the standard value, the main body stops.

Try this

Thanks for the reply, for i have tried this so many times and also by adding toner to the developer...this has worked for me only for a few hundred copies.
Now my tech says that i need to change the developer...and i am going to do that also:):):)
