Is there a way to turn off consumable messages like the bigger machines? Was going to put one under contract and would like to turn off at least the drum.

Thanks

Didn't think so. I didn't see anything in the SM.

I seem to recall there was a setting on the C35 to extend the life of consumables but couldn't turn off. Thought maybe there was something like that for the 25e.

Anyone know if the compatible toner will work for this B&W model? I see refill kits with chip are sold for this model.

Thanks again

the 25e is a rebadged lexmark thats why no life extension setting / bit switch.

Now the weird differences of the 25e and other K/M's is making sense. Because it's not even a Kon-Min box. Guess K/M didn't want to design their own small box so got in bed with Lexie.

i think it came to retooling the factorys for such a slow PPM box when they really needed to get a jump on production machines may have been a factor.
even the service manual is not even like the real KM format.

I thought the 25e was a Muratec. I know the 3320,4050,4750 are Lexmarks

That's right. Newest here A4 series MFPs 3622/4422 and 4052/4752 are also rebadged Lexmark.

Very old model now why would you want to have this under contract?

Personally i’d refuse it & upgrade to a later model, however avoid the desktop Bizhubs.

Thanks for the replies. Only putting it under contract because it is part of a 3 machine deal. I threw this in for a small warehouse office. But have to include it on a cost per page contact covering all three. The machine has 8k clicks. Apparently these must be a decent machine because where I buy my off lease machines some have over 100k.

8k is a low count so that one should be fine.

Muratecs I have had out in the field proved to be good runners. Don't know how the newer ones are.
