Hi,

I have this C360 which is around 3-4 months old, which freezes usually after sleep mode.
Or when turning on. however i notice some issue which keeps me bugling.
Freeze and hang up usually happens at afternoon. weird? yahh me to find it weird.

What i did,
Update firmware
Replace memory module
Check HDD - 100% Life
Soon to test MFPB.

Any thoughts? Comments and suggestions are very welcome.

TIA!

I believe those boxes are a lot older than 3-4 monts. More like 7 years plus. Try factory reset or different HD. Turn off sleep mode?

I think it's an energy saving problem.

Sometimes it is too invasive

Hi, I'll give you some skills that solved similar problems:
1. Service Mode> System 1> Sleep on / off choice setting> Permit.
2. Enter the administrator menu.
3. Choose menu number 1 "System Settings".
4. Choose "Power Supply / Power Save".

Now you have to set this up:
- Low consumption settings: as you want (I suggest you stay high).
- Pause mode: no.
- Activate energy saving: normal.
- Power consumption in pause mode: active.

5. Weekly timer setting: set to ON.
- Select on Pause.
- Set the weekly timer OFF.

Some names of the menu may be slightly different, however similar to what I wrote.

Let me know!

UPDATE!
UPDATE!
UPDATE!

machine was pulled out from client to be observed in the office.

Yesterday: Working fine!
Today: Upon turning ON this morning, it did hang up in the Logo.

So decided to test MFPB.
Installing new mfpb requires new Firmware right?
how ever upon plugging the USB with firmware, it did turn on until the beep(Hour Glass), then screen blacks out..
Blue and red light on the scanner, and red light on the start button..

any thoughts?
any proper procedure in replacing mfpb? i did lost my service manual. Do it need some like nvram back up before replacing?
could be a HDD issue since HDD is required during firmware update?
or it could be SSD issue?

Thoughts are very much welcome.

did you checked the cable plugged into monitor? try to re-plug it. i know it sound silly, but usually when users rotate monitor or grab it from the right side, the cable get loose and may not stick properly. just try it before mfpb.
