Konicaminolta C258 washed out prints

Have a weird issue internal print out of demo/config/and font pages being very feint and lacking solidity.
Other internal prints are fine eg.management lists,counter prints etc.
parts replaced, laser unit/mfpb/hdd/eeprom

Any Ideas

why care about a demo page. use service mode to test for quility. i have seen this but left it alone because it does not affect customer. dont waste money and time

run the gradation and halftone test prints in service mode, if they look ok then its just the pattern file.
i have noticed the demo pages do look kinda flat on the new series.
may be nothing to be concerned over.
scan the demo page and post it, i can tell you if it looks like what i see in the field as well.

i would try backing up the machine to USB and performing a network data clear under initialization then restore if necessary.
almost like something in the code that doesnt use the right density.
i saw nothing in the knowledgebase about this.

I will assume COPY is OK?
And the good sample is from another MFP.

It seems obvious, maybe too obvious.
If everything Printed WITHIN Service Mode is good, and everything Printed OUTSIDE of service mode is weak, surely this means someone has enabled Toner saving Mode.

When you replaced Main motherboard all previous settings would have been restored.
A full data clear would get rid of it, but check this first....

Utility - User setting - Printer Setting - BASIC Setting - Pg.2, Toner Saving Mode....

In a way, I hope I'm wrong after all your effort changing bits...!

I have the exact same issue on 2 c308's installed at the same time in the same location. I didn't replace any parts though as test prints in service mode and all print and copy jobs are fine. I just left it as is and the machines have worked fine otherwise for the past 2 years.
