Ricoh Key Code Required for SP Mode on SP C842dn and is NOT in the Service Manual

We have a Ricoh SP C842dn and the Service Manuals however in the service manual for tech mode it indicates the following:

Entering SP Mode
If there is no printer icon (Classic) on the HOME screen, follow the procedure below to display the number keyboard.
1. Press and hold the button [A] located at the left side of the operation panel and "Check Status " at the same time, until the number keyboard is displayed.

Ok so far so good, but:


[B]2. Enter the key code for SP mode.
For details of the key code to enter the SP mode, ask your supervisor

There is NO key code listed in the service manual, ask my supervisor? Could someone please help me out with what this "key code" is?

It will be the same as current Ricoh MFP’s.

press home and cancel before you start the machine and keep pushing them then start the machine and hold untill sp mode screen comes up
