Another problem will be when you'll setup the paper type in different trays...

There is a way to see the control panel on your computer and activate eveybutton as if your in front of the machine. I remember this from class i have never tried it.

If I recall correctly, there were 2 ethernet ports on the back/side of the 1050, one for printing/scanning and the other for Web Utilities, PS JobEditor, NetBackupTool and Mail remote notification system. They required 2 different IP addresses and, if configured, pointing a browser to the IP for teh web utility port/addy would allow control of a virtual touchscreen. You could make all your setting selections for paper and such, you just couldn't make it print/copy like this.

Once paper settings are done, you should be able to send a job; just make sure it's set to release/print automatically and not go to a hold queue.

It's been several years since I've touched one of these, so take this with a grain of salt.

You can use the machine nic, register your IP into the machine, then use remote panel.

Without a touch panel, is there any way to configure the NIC?

How do I "register your IP into the machine" cause I'm getting a message to "Register Authorized PC's before using Machine Manager setting" when I try to edit user passwords on web utilities on a BH950, though I can get to the WU screen fine.

Prior to use Remote Panel the machine administrator should register those PCs accessing through Remote Panel. Please review the POD Administrator's Reference User's Guide which you could download from Support | Konica Minolta Business Solutions, U.S.A., Inc. (http://kmbs.konicaminolta.us/content/support/supportmanuals.html)
Good luck
