We have the procedure for re-writing (i.e: writing the meter count to whatever count one pleases) not just clearing, the software meters of several Konica Minolta Models.

This procedure is perfectly legal and as long as you sell a used machine and let the buyer know he is getting a refurbished machine it is perfectly ethical as well.

Machines invariably come out from the factories with discrepencies between the software and hardware counters. This is usually due to the hardware meter having been backed up by a few hundred copies to allow the testing technicians to run adjustments before final shipping. This can sometimes throw some confusion when billing etc.

This procedure can be useful as well should you be replacing or backing up hardware counters. Please keep in mind these are not cars and that there are no laws governing the meter counts of office equipment that I am aware of.

We also have a procedure for being able to turn certain Minolta Models into their corresponding Konica versions. This will also work for certain OCÉ, Imagistic and HP boxes that are truly Konica designed boxes.
This can be useful for turning say a Minolta DI-551 into a Konica 7155 and attaching the Konica print controller (IP-511) to work with it or vice versa (turning and 7155 into a DI-551 and attaching a PI6500e Fiery controller)

Here is a partial list of the models in question.

7020, 7022, 7025, 7030, 7033, 7040, 7045, 7075/DI-750, Force 75, 7085/DI850, Force 85, 7130, 7135, 7145, 7155/DI-551, 7165/DI-650, 7255/DI-5510, 7272/DI-7210.

Prices will vary according to the procedure/procedures requested but normally will range between $50.00-$100.00 paid through paypal and might be dependent upon your ability to procure your own firmware and firmware flashing ability.

Either way, we can get it done!
