Have a client that has the Code PC come up twice today. One time it came up by itself then they had a power outage and it came up again. It's under Surge Protection. It has cleared itself both times. I get it that from the Service Manual it is - "Personal Counter not Installed," then referring to the Controller.

My suggestion to the client to offer something was to shut it off, un-plug unit from the wall and turn it back on.

Any other more professional suggestion? I have never seen this happen before.

Thanks.

On the Scanner PWB, check the CN5 enable loop is fitted.
Check sim26 for PC/Auditor setup disabled if you are not actually using a counter.

I appreciate the reply.

It was suggested too, that I go SIMMS 83-2 to clear out the Control PWB. I did this - Jury is still out as to whether it worked or not. However, if not, I will try your suggestion.

Appreciate the response.

wazza - you were right on with your suggestion. N5 Loop Connector was slightly disengaged - when I pushed it down in place - no more PC Code.

Somethng so simple to overlook caused an issue. Good to go - Thanks.
