i know this is an older copier but looking for any info , ours is small shop , mostly refurbing 350/450/5500/620 for resale , have updated 550 firmware no problem , tried my first 350u update to correct problem per tech pub , board had yellow roms ( know that makes difference for 550/620) , couldnt flash , so i substituted white roms and flash took , problem is now copier lost printing and scanning , prev tech had written product keys on pwb , tried them , ng , serial number on 22 print shows diiferent than copier , but do not know if they were match to begin with ,
to make long story short -
1) can flashing roms cause product keys to be lost?
2) is there a way to change the serial number electonically?
3) did i do something wrong during flash that could have caused this?
this forum has worked great for me so far , any type of help would be appreciated
