Hi all, I have recently become aware that firmware is available to extend the IU life on these models, however the release notes for the firmware refer to a tech notice that I cannot find on the KM european tech site. I was wondering if anybody has seen it? The tech notice number is tnbt0700226en00. If anyone has seen it,Iwould be grateful if you could send me a copy.

Thanks in advance....

Not sure if the firmware levels listed are the same for Europe, but here's the procedure we were given in the US.

RapidShare: 1-CLICK Web hosting - Easy Filehosting (http://rapidshare.com/files/268923099/IU_Yield_Modification.pdf)

This will only be available for a total of 10 downloads.

Sounds great !!!!!!! but keep an eye on your collection box. On the color boxes this will extend your IU life but not the amount of toner your collection box will hold. Found this out the hard way.

Hi Mascan. If it is the "non-stop" procedure, I already got it. If it's something else, I'd like to check it over. Can I have it? Pretty pretty please with a cherry on top? :)

Cheers!

Ah, yes, most of that I already know and put to use on most of my machines. The only thing I was unaware of is that Part #KMMODC01 - unless here in Europe it has another reference. What does it refer to?
