i am trying to use desktopbinder to download scanned documents from the document server. if i try to save the document the program tells me that require a option to transfer data to and from the machine,
is this a physical board i am shorting, or is this a setting on the machine? Please if anyone can help

Using Desktopbinder transfering data from document server only works on aficio 1045 & 1022 series model only.

Data stored on the Doc Server is in a proprietary format and the FFC converts it to a format that can be read by the computer.
The exact purpose is to make money by selling a board.

Thanks, knew if was a $$$$ thing. Does it allow me to see the temporary images from copies that were made ? I am looking for a document that was just copied that has the signatures on it.

No, that copied doc is history, deleted after the print. Forensic software is your only hope. Deleted means the same here as on a computer, it is not erased but the FAT entry is gone. Wait too long tho and it may be overwritten.
