Hi All, is the Mpc 6501 capable of running 170gsm glossy paper through the trays, I have a customer that is having continuous jamming issues with this paper type even on thick paper 2 setting. Cheers

Per the specs given in the FSD, you can run the following paper weights:

Trays 1 and 2
52.3 – 216 g/m2
14 Bond – 80 lb Cover
Tray 3
52.3 – 256 g/m2
14 Bond – 90 lb Cover
Bypass
52.3 – 300 g/m2
14 lb Bond– 110 lb Cover
Duplex mode
60 – 216 g/m2
17 lb Bond – 90 lb Index

Bear in mind, these specs are for bond, not glossy. Also, despite these specs, I'd give serious consideration to using the bypass, and setting it to thick 3.

Thanks very much for the info, Unfortunately I do not have a bypass on the machine as it has an A3 Lct attached, if you set it to thick 3 you cannot duplex then, my customer needs to duplex.
I have a feeling that this model cannot tolerate gloss. Thanks for the help.
