Friends,
As a new workshop technician, I want to clear some of my basic fundamentals. Can someone explain me the purpose of one bin tray.
Thanks.

On ricoh family machines the one bin tray give you an optional output tray for a dedicated function, ex. received faxes. That way they are not intermixed with copy's or prints.

Kyocera calls it a "Job Separator" and they are very useful if the machine has a fax system installed.

Thanks friends,
now let's move a bit further. What is the purpose of "bridge unit". By the way, I work with Ricoh machines.
Thanks.

The bridge unit basically provides the additional paper feed path and transport needed for the various types of finisher options.
Finishers can generally sort, stack & staple in one or more positions.
