Sharp AR168 - Toshiba E-Studio 162D exposure lamp

I need an exposure lamp for a Sharp AR-168D. Sharp only sells the entire carriage unit assembly. Katun's equivalency chart shows the Toshiba E-Studio 162D to be the same machine.

As far as I know, the only way to get this lamp is to order the scanner assembly, and I have ordered a few. Just be more careful cleaning the optics. At least thats how I broke the lamp. =^..^=

Thanks Blackcat. You got it right. I was trying to slide the optics unit for cleaning and yes I did put pressure where I should not have. It was late in the workday, I had already tried to put the repair off until the next day.... thankfully, I had an AR153 at the shop that I could borrow from. I'll look awhile longer for a parts machine somewhere before spending something like $135 for a new assembly.
