Your kidding, right? 300gsm is too thick to run through just about any copier, especially a used copier.

Sounds to me like you answered your own question. I never heard of a machine that can do anything over 120lb. My suggestion is walk away, walk away fast..........

You might want to look at the Canon iRColor 3200/3220 with a C1/C2 Fiery Print Server and a N2 Saddle Finisher. I can run up to 140lb. Index from the manual feed tray up to size 12x18. It's business color but I see a lot of print shops using it and the color isn't too bad.

Check the 3510c by Toshiba with the new fiery rip. Good running box add the saddle stich finisher. Good color and price is not tooo bad.

I think the Canon Ir5180 can do 140 # index from the bypass up to 12x18.Has better color than the 3220 also.

That is true. It's the upgrade version of the 3220.

The Toshiba seems good... The Canon 5180 is the machine I'm looking for!:D

Best machine I've serviced for running all those unsupported media types is the Ricoh 6513. 13"x19" bypass only rated 140lb. Capable of running card board and wood grain venier. I have a customer that uses 80lb wasau exact gloss coated as everyday paper from the trays. Ricoh support won't touch this. Draw back... can't duplex these media's and forget finisher options. CPC is alittle pricey.Color is good enough for professional presentation and print 4 pay.

P.S. she is a high maintenance lady.

Check out the C6500 from Kinolta, it will do 300 gm2 from the optional paper feed unit. I haven't tried it, it will also do 256gm2 from most if not all cassettes.

The Xante Illumina handles up to 502 gsm. It is an Okidata manufactured machine modified by Xante to handle heavier stocks than Oki's version. The Okidata C9650hn Color Signage Printer model will handle up to 385 gsm/18 pt. Only drawback is their consumables are very high for print for pay locations not to bad though for end users. I have the older Oki model C9200 and it handles most cover stock up to 12 pt. Produces beautiful color up to 13x19 but I upgraded to a Canon C3220 due to the consumable cost of the Oki. If I were going to buy another Oki or Xante printer I would go with the Oki, it is a fraction of the cost of the Xante version unless I just had to have the 502 gsm, but 385 gsm is plenty heavy enough even for most copy shops or commercial printers.
