c450's have strong belts (imo), they tend to last a good couple of lifetimes provided they don't get any dents or scratches in the surface.

print some A3 (or equivalent large sized) gradations from service mode, if the same image artefacts appear in the same location for the different colours, then most llikely the belt is the trouble.

what i tend to do on a service call is remove the cleaning section of the belt and give it a good vacuum. 9 times out of 10 this will clear it right up, even if it IS on its 4th life.

good luck.

thanx for your feedback.

my problem is the 2nd transfer voltage. no matter what i do, the machine always adjusts the voltage to values above 3000 volts.
when i restore the voltage to a lower level it stays low till the next stabilizer and then its back up high.

have you every seen this behaviour?
