I have a 7103 error -Magenta T/C sensor toner density detection error.

• A normal toner density signal is not
entered in the A/D port of CPU (U2)
on the engine controller.

The manual suggests replacing the engine control PWB first, then the magenta developer, then reseat the connectors. Anyone out there that can point me in the right direction?

The manual should suggest replacing the whole machine with one that isn't a total piece of crap.

Does the machine continually cycle trying to tone up ?
Sounds like the customer is running the machine on low or no toner in the magenta. Check the cyan as well. Some customers have a colour machine and only use it for black. They believe the machine will continue to print black forever with out toner in the colour toner cartridges.

This happens on the FS5300DN Machines as well.

Thank you, but not cycling. I resolved the problem by pulling out the developers and reseating them.
