Fax kit for mx4501n & mx4101n

Can i use fax kit from the mx4501n into the mx4101n????

The MX4501 uses the MXFXX1 kit and the MX4101 uses the MXFXX2 kit. I don't see where they are cross compatible in the manual but their installation and setup are the exact same. Haven't tried it but knowing Sharp there is probably a ROM version conflict in there somewhere.

Not sure if connector pins match up between the FXX1 and FXX2, but the connector is white for the FXX1 and pink for the FXX2 and should match color connector on the MFP board.
