Once the machine warms up it then defaults to a code of C-0500. I reset the machine and once it warms up, the error code comes up again. What does that code mean?

fuser unit thermistors are faulty.unfortunately those models you need to change the complete fuser unit with the oil coating unit and web unit. -
We installed a supposed rebuilt fuser about 6 weeks ago and we have been having overheating issues since then. What is the oil coating and web unit and is it included in the fuser assembly?Comment

Sorry I confused it with the c2001 model.I hope u are resetting by pressing the microswitch at the front of machine and not just opening and closing the front door.you said refurbed unit so chances are its faulty againComment

I am resetting it via the micro switch inside the front cover. Opening and closing the door has no effect. It does appear that the fuser unit is again faulty then. thank youComment
