Hi, we have a Bizhub C250 that makes a horrible noise when starting up or color copying

I think this video explains it all

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IafLVrzUNlg

And after this, the machine shows P-6,P-7,P-8,P-9 or P-5 and P-28 errors and results are gray pages when copying.

Thank you, boys! and girls, too!

I had the same issue on C650 week ago, see my thread if you want.

Its the cleaning motor that drives transfer belt cleaning unit. Not meshing properly, I had it on C650 it was M38. Check your manual for exact motor and gear. you will find it .All p codes are related to not reading properly starting calibration and stabilization pattern.

Obviously you will have to clean the front and rear IDC reading sensors under the transfer belt conveyance turn.

When you change the motor make sure you have also the gear changed, not sure if there is any modification for it. you have to check that one out.
