Had Konica 7145 machine serviced. It had developed lines across the printed pages. Tech installed new developer, PM kit and web and reassembled. Started error code F34-1. He installed two different "used" thermistors and one different "used" fuse. Lamps test good and light up. Still showing code at start up. Installed new thermistor and new fuse and still getting F34-1 code at start up. He has given up. Can anyone share your ideas on what I can do to try and get my machine up and running again?

I do not know if he did or not. Can you give me a quick rundown on how to reset it? Many thanks!

Turn on the machine pressing both '2' and '5' button of the keypad until the display shows the 25 setting phase. Then select "1-software switch".
Touching the arrows select the software switch 3, bit 1, and then OFF.
Press RETURN and then turn off and on the machine.

Thanks barratec,

That worked for the F34-1 code. Everything spooled up, went through the warm up and back to the main screen. I let it sit for a minute without running any test copies and now I have an F34-2 code. Can you please help me with that code as well? Many thanks!

All codes like F34-x , F35-x, F36-x are caused by the fixing unit. The way to reset them is that one i've wrote you before.
Probably you have to change the 2 thermistors with new ones. Check the good status of all unit components. Take a look if is not inverted the position of the black and blue fixing lamp wiring, they have 2 different sizes of connector.

Reset codes and printed about 15 copies. All was good. Let machine sit again and it is now showing a F35-9 code. Reset and it worked fine. Let it sit again and we are starting over with the f-34 codes. Machine has new thermistors and fuse. Checked wires and they are on correct size blades. Lamps are working. Any other parts I should test? Any other suggestions you are willing to share? Thanks again for all of your help...........

Concerning thermistors... White leads = Bad
Yellow leads = Good

...[Tech] has given up...
Well now that's interesting.

If you have the new style thermistors (yellow leads), and are still getting codes, the thermistors themselves may not be riding on the roller properly- they each need to lay square on the roller surface.
