check to make sure the magenta drum blade has not flipped causing friction on the drum, alway apply setting powder on drum. If its not flipped then goto i/o check 41-3, 4,& 5 check M15 magenta drum motor is turning at 1/2, 2/3 & 1/1 speed respectively. If it turns it might be your PRCB. Hope this helps you, good luck.

Yes i've seen this, managed to swap the entire drive assy to the black unit and swap the fault too. Could be just the drive motor faulty as i've seen that on older KM machines.

In the last fortnight leading to christmas I have had codes mostly for the Cyan drum unit, have had a couple for magenta. It is only when using 150gsm+ stock. They can run 80gsm and a bit higher all day but as soon as they switch to the heavier stock could be 50 could be 500 but the code will come up.
On affected machines they have tried boards, motors, drum units everything to fix but with no joy.
Konica here have passed it on to Japan, who came back with a work around between xmas/new year but the customer was closed over the break and i'm now on leave so it will be bit before I know if it works.

Do you want the bad news or the bad news? There is nothing wrong with your drums or drum drives. The NVRAM is corrupt.

I'm hoping one of the others fix it before I get back.
Thanks for the info.
