Hello, I have a problem with the panel going out of calibration. I recalibrate it and it is fine for a week or two and it goes out again to the point where the customer cant use it. We have replaced the entire panel,Hdd and installed new firmware. Not sure what to try next.

I would change maybe look at trying a system board if you have changed everything else or even the customer. Bit of a strange fault.

I have one 452 in the field that won't stay calibrated either ??? About once a month.

I finally had to show the customer how to do it their self with 08.

They are on the touch screen all day e-mailing/scanning, but I don't have issues with other 450's or 452's, so I just don't know.

I already replaced HDD and network board and f/ware update for other issues, but panel remains with calibration issues.

if its easier you can change a 08 code to display "Panel Calibration" in the "user functions", "admin", "general" menu, then you dont have to turn the machine off and on to calibrate it... i cant remember what code it is but at a guess some where between 08-600 and 800?

Cheers Cam

Cam, that sounds like a good temp solution to put the calibration in the user mode. I looked in the 08s and I dont see anything like that. Maybe it is called something different than I am looking for. If you find which 08 code I would appreciate it. Thanks

For some models the latest firmware give the customer the ability to calibrate the screen using the user functions. It could be an easy fix.

08 - 9051
Panel calibration setting value display
Switches whether the screen for displaying panel calibration setting values is displayed or not.
0: Disabled (screen not displayed)
1: Enabled (screen displayed)

But as said about it may need firmware for this code to work

iv got V22 of the service handbook so it might not exist in the older versions
