Not enough info for right solution :(

Usually if you have original CD Toshiba Viewer, it runs installation via Autorun. After few steps you must put USB cable into e-STUDIO and Tur on the machine. Installation will be completed.

Which way you use for installlation- CD autorun, add printer, doubleclick exe?!?!?
What OS do you have?

Usually you will be able to download complete CD from web cca 315MB (Toshiba Viewer 2.0), it'sISO image. Burn disc and try to install.
For Firmware upgrade, on models 163/166/203/206/181/211 and 165/167/205/207/237/182/212/242 without Network Controller, you will need a Special Software Upgrade Tool.

Below is how i install driver:

1. Connect usb cable from MFP to PC
2. On the MFP, and your PC will detect new hardware
3. Install the USB driver
4. Once the USB driver is finish install, it will auto go to driver installation, just follow the on screen instruction
