Anyone ever get a Jam error E0 on the FS-3140? It only happens every now and again, but it's driving my client crazy!! No mention of it under paperjam codes on the manual. only reference i could get is "Paper misfeed occurs due to forced stop when an error occurs during printing"..What does this mean????????

Might this error be similar to the fs 2000d which had the J E0. This was fixed with firmware.

We have also seen this with bad door switches or where the actuator just contacts the switch. Check all door switches and actuators. Something is causing the printer to stop while printing, like opening a door while paper is moving through the printer. On some models we have seen the top door switch on the switching regulator get pushed away from the board causing this problem. We just drill a hole in the board through the hole that is in the switch (use the hole that is away from the trace on the back side of the board) and put a small screw in from the back side of the board, threading it into the switch. This will hold the switch to the board permanently. Solves the problem for us. Hope this helps.
