hi there,

We have a machine KMC 5500 which is some kind of dead.
The touch screen does not response and we could not find a clue.
What we did: replaced the complete panel twice including that of the neighbor machine, same problem
Checked all the wires and connectors from the panel to the machine with our Fluke.
Replaced the OACB and memory bd, i.e. all the boards in the cassette at the side of the waste toner box.
Finally we connected a USB mouse to get him working and this works! You can operate the machine completely like you touch the screen.
With this working we reloaded firmware but this also gave no relief.
You can do the screen calibration with the mouse but this won’t work either!

Anybody there who can help us a bit? Anybody seen this?

A reply would be very much appreciated!!

Hi, where did you connected the mouse? In the machine or the fiery? If it was in the machine in which port? Thank you.
