I removed the spring loaded black handle that unlatches the drum unit tray. I caused the error code seen above. can someone tell me how to re-install it correctly .Thank's John

This model dont have a handle.Drum is fixed with two screws. Dont tell me you broke this one too! :confused:

It is the same copier.Canon IRC 3080i. My appologies for the mis-statement of the model number. Just a civil answer would suffice. In order to get to the drum unit assy. to slide out towards you. You have to remove the (2) screws and then turn a black spring loaded release handle located on the right. What I'm asking for is how to reinstall the handle and reload the spring inside the handle to the correct tension.

Sorry for the time lapse to your response. Yes, It's the highlighted diagram you sent. I need to re-align the shaft , that the handle turns and at the same time install the handle while loading the tension on 1 of the 2 springs that go inside the handle. Thank's for your help
