HELLO ALL, is there a way to activate the USB on the operational panel so that you can print?i have tried several USB'S to no avail. the mp5002 when you plug in you can see the icon, please help!

What the heck is a MP2501? There is a USB port on the side if printing is installed and it can be activated with SP5985-2 if necessary.
If the usb is on the conpane, it is not for connecting to a printer. (Because this is a printer!)

You need the HDD option installed, if it not installed then you cannot print from USB.

There is no workaround.
