Hello Guy's,

We have a C6501 who got an error C.C101, all known causes has been checked and repaired. (clutches, short-circuit, PRCB...).

Now ,the engine works well but alone (without finishing).

The RU504 and FS503 are not visible by engine!

PRCB has been replaced and upgraded in lastest version (V70) connections checked.

RU and FS works well in a way that those units has been tested on another engine (3 engines with same equipement at customer site).

All power supplies are good.

Any idea?

Many thanks,

Twinax

did the unit ever work with the main body?

or is this a new install/ used install?

they may have been isolated when you had the problem, check soft switch settings i believe they are isolated in dip-switches 18-1 and above, check you manual

if you know the finishers and relays are good, by testing else where i would look for bent pins or cut wires on the konica main body. maybe the main power or the leads to the daughter boards, may be crimped or cut. If the main unit is not seeing the finishers it may not be getting that far in the boot.

I know on the C6501 there is a extra power connector for the 1050/1200 that if you hook it up it will blow up the control boards in the main body.

can you get the FS that doesn't need the relay out there to see if that will work. at least it will help figure out what the issues is.

konica says the following...

PROBABLE CAUSES:
1. When the sub power switch (SW2) is ON, no response is received from the Printer Control Board (PRCB) within the specified time because ICP23 on PRCB is OPEN.
Check for any pinched, shorted or cut wires. Check installation of transfer units. Replace the failed DRPS (p/n A03U R736 00) and PRCB (p/n A03U R7B5 00).
Note: If unable to locate ICP23 (2.3A fusable link), it can be found in the lower left section of the PRCB near connector CN301.

2. Transfer drive motor M18 has failed, connector was not seated properly, or connector and/or wiring from PRCB to motor has been damaged.
Check connections and wiring from PRCB to M18. Replace the PRCB (p/n A03U R7B5 00) and also M18 if necessary (p/n 27LA 8001 2E). If the wiring is damaged please replace the wiring harness (p/n A03U N113 00).
