Hello, has anybody experience with Jam 72-26? on a SD-509 bizhub c220/c652

The paper falls down in the SD-509 and the paddles rotates, the stopper (Nr. 7) collect the paper in the upper position and after it runs down to the down position where the fold-knife press the paper between the fold-rollers.

But now is the problem that the rubber paddles stops the paper or hold the paper and the stopper runs down without, it seems that the paddles do not rotate long enough, or the paddles are to long.
I cut the paddles and now i have no jams but no alignment control... everything is skewed, so thats not the solution. Any ideas? thx

Hi there,

I was wondering if you ever found the solution to this problem?

Hello,

I was wondering if you have figured this jamming issue. I seem to be getting something very similar to these symptoms.

the solenoid that operates the grippers in the leading edge stopper overheats and goes open circuit intermittently. Replace it.

if the stopper is going down without the paper intermittently, this is what I've had before. its nothing to do with the length of the upper paddles - the grip from the grippers should be more than sufficient to overcome it, if not, figure out why not. Replace the paddles you have damaged also.

Hi

Thank you for feedback.
Unfortunately we had not enough time to figure it out (customer was not patient) so we changed the motor for the paddles, the upper paddles itself and the board from SD and the board from finisher. The problem persists.. than we changed the whole SD-509.

But now I'm interested to find the solution.

@EarthKmTech
oh man, i had no time enough to test the solenoid from the grip... but that was the next step i wanted to try.
You had the same problem? and that was your solution?

thanks
