We are tying to print from Asus Laptop. It prints from Mac but not printing from Asus.

Please advise what to do? We can open the copier in browser and can see status ready.

Something with the firewall or ???

Thanks

There are so many questions I don't really know where to begin ...

1) Is your Asus laptop on the same network as the printer and communicating?
2) Does your Asus laptop have a print driver?
3) Is the print driver for a KM bizhub C253?
4) Is that print driver ported to the IP address of the bizhub?
5) Do you know what a network cable is?

I could do this all day.
Would you like more questions? =^..^=

We can open the machine in any browser and can add /edit everything.

that answered all of your above questions.

Pinging, scan to folder and email also works.

it is not printing. Job shows in printer queue and stays like that.

Did you create your own TCPIP Port and use a downloaded driver or did you let Windows 8 take over during the printer install and do it's own thing? In my experiences, if you create a TCPIP port and the installation process quickly finds the printer, it will print. Is it possible you have a WSD port, which may be not working?

WSD is a port that Windows 8 creates (Windows 7 can as well). Web Service Device. I don't recommend it. Try stopping and starting the Print Spooler Service on the PC. Also try rebooting the copier and unplug the power from the copier for at least 60 seconds before turning it back on. Reboot the PC in the same manner. Try another PC and see if you get the same results if necessary, it might help tell you where the problem is.

If that does not work, try changing the TCPIP address on the printer, and see if that works.

Set your machine Full DHCP and draw all network settings in, install printer manually with the latest driver providing you have the latest firmware.
