Currently in the process of an office upgrade from Win 7 64-bit to Win 8.1 (64-bit). It appears there are no current/valid drivers for the Bizhub c450 with Fiery (IC-402) for Windows 8. Has anyone identified a workaround?

Universal and best available drivers seem to provide partial functionality, but control over the bypass tray appears to be gone (despite the print preferences allowing one to select/change it, it is not accessible).

I found this thread, but am not a member there and was unable to create a registration today (issue with the Captcha server) - this guy appears to have found a work around 1.5 years ago, but it's not clear to me what he did:
Windows 8 drivers? (http://fieryforums.efi.com/showthread.php/3596-Windows-8-drivers)

Anyone have any suggestions? I find it unfortunate that we are regularly scrapping functional equipment based solely on its age...

I dunno about specific drivers for that machine, but you can install windows xp mode from here (http://windows.microsoft.com/en-us/windows7/install-and-use-windows-xp-mode-in-windows-7)...
Its a little bit of a pain to have to start it and stuff, but I use it at work for an old HP LaserJet and an ancient scanner.

Hope that help a little bit.
