    Question MFC-8480dn too many trays?

    My customer has a MFC-8480dn with an error message "Too many trays". There is not an optional tray installed on this machine. I am not a brother tech. Any body seen this before?

    Can't say I have ever seen it. Have you tried disconnecting the tray option plug from the main PCB. May be a short in the cable.
