Hi everyone! Can anyone explain me in a simple way, why multifunction printer mfc 8460 and similar ones, don't have waste toner from drum? Thanks!

I haven't seen where black & white printers have a waste toner bottle. Have only seen color printers with waste toner bottles. It's probably due to the fact, in black & white printing, there's only black toner. In color printing, there is three times more waste toner. More toner requires a bigger receptacle for waste toner.

For exmaple Lexmark toner cartridges has waste toner near to drum, in drum unit.
