TN3290, Toner spill in Brother MFC 8880 DN

Hi, I have a toner spill fault with two different customers on the MFC8880DN. Toner TN3290 was supplied and then customer called the next day reporting the fault. I checked the toner bottle and observed toner spilling from right under the toner roller.
I checked the brother service site for bulletins but couldn't find any solutions to this relating to the model of machine. Toners were replaced and machine is working fine.
I'm suspecting I could have some storage issue, or a particular batch of toner that's not good for use.

Need advise / tech help on this.

Is this machine using oem toner?
