    Toner Empty

I have a brother MFC-8820d with the machine saying the toner is empty. There is still plenty of toner in it. the toner was got from a different machine so it had already reset the toner count on the previous machine.

Does anyone know of a code to reset the toner count or is there a gear I can reposition somewhere to reset the toner count?

Most brother cartridges that I know of eat their own crap. There's no waste toner. So the presence of toner doesn't mean anything. If you keep using them beyond their capacity you end up with other problems.
