Which is better between Xerox and Konicaminolta production printers

Which in your own view and experience is the better brand in term of stability and print quality between Xerox and Konicaminolta production digital printers?

Only ever worked on Konica production boxes... so my vote is for Konica!

I guess that would depend on what you consider "Production". I stated my career in this industry at Xerox; I did PM's on their Production equipment. These are what I consider production; 500 lb. paper roll feed with cutter, four 5k stacker units, a belt that holds 7 images at a time and a fuser roll bigger then both your arms. But hey, that's just me.

Outside of true Xerox production equipment, their new boxes are shit.
KM are consistently good but have a higher price tag in general but produce very well.

It is also very dependent on what you plan on producing: color vs. monochrome, various paper stocks, finishing and booklets options, yadda yadda yadda....
