    Canon 5180 Fixing Units

Can anyone tell me if the Canon 5180 "used" fixing units are of value? I have someone offering me 40+ of these and more. The reorder number is: FM3-0691-000 (old #) and FM3-3778-000 (new #). I can also be interested in 20 to 40 of the new one's if anyone has a deal.

If they've been refurbished then yes...I'd take a gamble on them but if they're "as is" and haven't been refurbed then run away screaming NOW.
These units very rarely make it to their rated 100%....lucky to make 70% of life before the upper belt shreds.
So in short..if they've been done up with new belts, displacements motor assemblies and HT units then yes...buy up.

Did you ever buy these units and do you have any for sale? If they are new working condition I could but all of them from you because we use several of them every month. Thanks.
